I woke up early today so I would have plenty of time at the space center. I went to the gym to shower and there was a dog on the treadmill!

When I got back to the van I laid back down for a while and went to the space center around noon. I had a great time here, but it wasn’t as cool as the Houston one. The best parts were the military missile and rocket exhibit, the space shuttle park, and the rocket park. They also had the actual Apollo 16 command module and one of the nine remaining A-12’s. Oh, one more thing of note was the grave of the first monkey in space. The spider monkey survived the trip and lived at the space center until it died of old age. My favorite part was the Saturn V museum. They had a full scale replica of the Saturn V outside and one of the three Saturn V’s set up horizontally in an exhibit. I just have one left to see in Orlando. Below is a dump of the pics from the Rocket and Space Center. Message me if you want to know more about any of the pics.
