After the space center I took off toward Knoxville, TN and stopped for the night in Chattanooga, TN. Around noon I went downtown and walked up and down the city. The first sight was the Chattanooga Choo Choo. There was a hotel by this name at the site, the train, and a bunch of shops inside train cars. It was a neat little area.
There wasn’t a ton to see here. It was pretty much like any other old downtown area. I did find the site of the first Coca-Cola bottling company. This city seemed mostly industrial and kinda run down. 4/10 do not recommend.
After my walk I took off to Knoxville. I got there around six and was recommended to go to Calhoun’s on the River. This was a BBQ place. The food was meh, kind of expensive. The bartender, Ami, was great though. It was busy so I didn’t get to chat much. After I ate I went to Crafty Bastard Brewery. This was a nice divey brewery with a decent selection of beer.
