I was told that I should check out Clary’s Cafe in Savannah. This is a great little breakfast/lunch spot. I had a really good Reuben sandwich. Next I was off to check out the squares. These are a bunch of little parks with monuments and other historical value to them. The bench that Forrest Gump was filmed at was in one of them. They’ve moved the original bench to the museum though. The City Market was cool. There were a bunch of shops and bars. I think you could drink on the street too.

I made my way to the waterfront. There are a bunch of signs on the riverwalk that have a bunch of info on the history of Savannah.

I had been walking for several miles by this point and needed a beverage. I found Moon River Brewing Company. I had gotten there just in time for happy hour. They only did one flight and it was all of their beers. I only really liked a couple of them.

I went to Service Brewing next. They had a live bluegrass band. I started talking to the guy next to me and we hung out for a hour or so.

They guy asked if I wanted to go to a bar and I agreed. We asked the bartender if there were any cool dive bars around. She gave us three, Rusty Rudders, PS Tavern, and Totally Awesome Bar. The first two were kinda lame, but Totally Awesome was totally awesome. It had pool tables, an arcade, stage for bands, and a full bar. We stayed here and played a few games of pool.
