I got into Albuquerque, NM today. After cleaning up I went to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. It was pretty interesting. I found out that I ended up going through it backwards though. They had dinosaurs, a volcano exhibit, minerals, etc. As far as museums go it wasn’t my favorite, but it wasn’t bad. Well worth the $4.
After the museum I went to Old Town. It was a tourist area. Lots of wacky shops in old buildings. I didn’t stay long, walked around a bit, made supper, then took off to find a place to stay for the night.
Once I found a place to park for the night I went over to The 377 Brewery. They had some good beer on tap. I started talking to this guy that was in town for training. He ended up being a cop form New Jersey. He was the typical Italian macho cop guy, but he had some good stories.
