I flew into Sacrament, CA yesterday afternoon after another couple days in airports. I tried looking for a sports bar so I could watch the Vikings game. I decided on Clubhouse ’56. I got stuck watching it on a tiny TV in the corner though. People were hoarding all of the other big TV’s.
After the game I drove downtown and stopped at the capitol first. There was a huge storm that blew through last night that knocked down a bunch of huge trees all over the city. There were lots of roads closed. The capitol building was under construction so I didn’t get a good picture of it. It seems like a lot of states are working on their capitol’s right now.
I found a spot to park downtown so I could walk the riverfront and old city. I walked by the Golden 1 Center where the Warriors play and then went to the waterfront. The waterfront area was neat, it was all old timey. It was a very touristy area. They had a paddle wheel boat and a ferris wheel right on the water. Tomorrow I’m going up to Chico, CA to stay with my cousin for a while.
