All I did yesterday was drive up to Idaho Falls, ID, throw a round of frisbee golf, and check out Snow Eagle Brewing and Grill. The Beaver Dick Brown Pelt Ale was really good. I cant believe how expensive the food was though.

I parked right next to the falls last night. It was nice being able to hear them when I was falling asleep. This morning I walked along the riverfront and watched the falls for a while.

I stopped for a quick lunch at McDonald’s and then took off for Craters of the Moon National Monument. This place was wild. It was like hiking and driving on a different planet.

On my way back to Idaho Falls I stopped at the ERB-1. This was the first nuclear reactor that produced electricity. In the parking lot they had the experimental reactors for the MX-1589 project. This project was testing putting a nuclear reactor in a B36 bomber to supply the jet engines. It was a terrible idea and was cancelled by JFK early in testing.
