Today I started my journey to Olympia. On the way I stopped at Rimrock Lake for lunch. The level of the lake was so low I drove out to the middle of the lake and had lunch.
After lunch I went a little further to Clear Creek Falls to look at the waterfall.
Once I got past all of the cool nature stuff I finished the drive to Olympia, WA. It was raining when I got there so I just hung out for the night.
On the 31st it was overcast, but at least it wasn’t raining. I first went to the capital building. I looked the the liberty bell, but I found out that it was in Tacoma, WA for some reason. I’ll have to check that out when I get there.
When I was done walking around the capital grounds I drove to Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls. This was a cool park next to some waterfalls and the old Olympic Brewery was on the river. There was a history of the falls and the two brewery buildings near the entrance. I walked the loop past the three waterfalls and then read about the breweries. It was an interesting story.
