I decided this was going to be my last day in Boston. I was going to check out the few things that I missed the other day and move on. I ended up staying downtown a bit longer than expected. My first stop was Chinatown. Like all of the other Chinatown’s that I’ve visited, the whole place smelled so good.

After that I made my way the Public Garden and Boston Common. In the Public Garden there were a bunch of statues of historical dudes culminating with the statue of George Washington. In Boston Common there was the Soldiers and Sailors monument, a sea mine from WW1, and the tricentennial monument. They had the carousel taken down and they were getting the place ready for winter and ice skating.

I was about to head out when I saw that the oldest graveyard was right next door. The Granary Burial ground had a bunch of the founding fathers and revolutionaries in it. The popular ones were Sam Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock, and the parents of Ben Franklin.

After that I hopped on the trail to the water, or something like that. I hit up Kings Chapel, and burial ground, old City Hall, Irish Famine Memorial, Old South Meeting House, the site of the Boston massacre (which was at the old Sate House), and down to the water. The customs house is probably one of the coolest buildings in Boston.

After this I took the train back to the van. I wanted to see the seaport before I left and Harpoon Brewery was right there. There wasn’t much to photograph here. It’s just a working port.

I didn’t realize how far away Gillette Stadium, Patriots stadium, was from Boston. It’s and hour away from the seaport on interstate. I was driving at rush hour though. The stadium was way bigger than I expected. When I got there I saw they had an E-sports arena there too. I had to check that out. I found out that it was the home arena for the Boston Uprising, an Overwatch league team. After that I walked over to the stadium and saw what I could. The place was gated off a lot.
