Today I visited Baltimore. There were a couple things I found to check out here. Right by where I parked was the Shot Tower. This was a tower that they dropped molten lead through a screen at the top into a water tank at the bottom to create shot for muskets. On my way to the Hard Rock I saw the USCGC Taney that fought in Pearl Harbor.

I walked by the World Trade Center and the memorial on my way to Oriole Park. They had some twisted steel from the disaster. The USS Torsk and USS Constellation were on the piers too.

Of course I had to visit Edgar Allan Poe’s grave while I am here. I also got to see one of the suspended grave stones that was on Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, because its broken and hasn’t fallen yet.

On my way back I found a brewery, Ministry of Brewing, that was in an old church. It was really neat. They left most of the interior intact and put the brewing equipment up where the alter would be.

With the remaining daylight I took off to Washington DC.
