Today I got to explore Niagara Falls. It’s as beautiful as everyone says it is. Thankfully it wasn’t very busy. All of the shops were closed, but there wasn’t anything I was going to buy anyway. It would’ve been cool to go to the observation tower, but I was too slow. I started by the rapids above the falls and then to Bridal Veil and the American Falls. There was a statue of Nikola Tesla next to Bridal Veil Falls. After that I went to the crescent falls, where I got soaked by the spray. I then went over the walk bridge up to the observation tower and the gift shop. I spent pretty much all afternoon here.

On my way back to the van I saw that I was fairly close to the Old Stone Chimney. This had an really interesting history. It was originally the fireplace for the fort, then used on a house after the fort burned down, got moved when a factory was being built, moved again, and then finally moved again to it’s current spot. Every time it was moved they marked all the stones and rebuilt it it the exact same way.
