I started my day by getting kicked out of Canada. Because of my DUI they won’t let me in until 2027. They owe me $4 for crossing the bridge to not get let in.
As I was leaving town I drove by the power station and decided to check it out. It was actually pretty neat. They had a bunch of exhibits for kids with stations on how the plant runs, electricity, and how power is transmitted. There was a short movie, from the late 90’s/early 00’s that was really cheesy. Downstairs they showed how the dam was originally set up and how they transformed the area to what it is now.
I made my way to Syracuse, NY to watch and bet on the UFC fights. I went to the Yellow Brick Road Casino to get my bet in. After that I walked around the place and they had a blowing alley, golf simulator, quarterback simulator, and live music. I wish they would’ve had the fights on there. I found a bar back in Syracuse that was showing the fights, The Hops Spot. This was similar to JL Beers. They had way more taps though, something like forty. I got to try a bunch of NY beers and watch the fights. After the fights I got to chatting with the bartenders and locals. I ended up staying until after bar close until they finally kicked me out.
