My parents were in Alabama visiting family and wanted to meet up. I was going to Atlanta, GA so I could fly out to California for my cousins birthday so they drove up and we hung out for a few days. Yesterday we drove around and stopped at Reformation Brewery before going back to the room.
Today we drove downtown to see the capitol and liberty bell. After that we went to the Silver Skillet Diner for lunch. This place was on Diner’s Drive-Inn’s and Dives. I didn’t think it was worth the hype. I did try chicken and waffles for the first time though.
After lunch we went to supposedly the largest cuckoo clock in the world. It was a large clock. I don’t know about largest in the world though. They did have some cool grandfather clocks. One of them was the last one made by the Herschade company that is worth $125,000. They also had the clock from Back to the Future 3 that Marty and Doc stood in front of for the picture.
This will be my last post for a while. I’ll be in California for a month hanging out with my cousin. See you all in December.
