I made it to Houston last night and just crashed after finding a place to park. I’ve gotten into the habit of waking up between 1 and 2 PM and it makes site seeing hard. Anyway, I went to a laundromat to wash clothes since it was getting too late to do anything else. I was looking on Google to see what was going on and lo and behold there was a Death Angel concert tonight!. I got a ticket, only $28 including fees, and hung out until the show.
The show was at Scout Bar. It’s a popular local hard rock/metal bar near the space center. They had a bunch of signed guitars on the wall from the different bands that they had there. They also had a ton of craft beer on draft.
Needs a haricut 
All of the bands were really good. I didn’t catch the name of the first band, I think they were local. They were more of a death metal style band that I’m not super into. The others, Hell Fire, Exmortis, and Death Angel were amazing. They are all thrash metal bands for those that don’t know. They all put on a great show and I had a blast. I even got into the circle pit at the end of Death Angel. I haven’t done that in over a decade.

After the show I went back to my spot and looked at what other shows were coming up and found that DIAMANTE is playing tomorrow and Ozz, and Ozzy Osbourne tribute band is on Saturday. I immediately got tickets for those too. I guess I’m staying in Houston through the weekend.
