On the 16th I went golfing at Mayfair Country Club North of Orlando. I played horribly, but I still had fun.
After golfing I donated plasma then did a bit of brewery hopping. I started at Alestone Brewing Company. The beer was ok, but it was fun talking with the staff. That evening I drove down to A La Cart. They are a beer bar and food truck spot. They had four food trucks and a cute little taproom and patio area. I got there as they were finishing up trivia.
Yesterday I gave plasma and then went looking or somewhere to play trivia. all of the places that play on Thursdays are on the North side of Orlando and I’m in the South part. I found a brewery that was on my PubPass that was having it, Runabout Brewing.
Runabout seemed more like a restaurant than a brewery, but they did have a pretty extensive beer list. I really liked the oyster stout. There were only three teams playing and I took second. I missed a few that I should’ve gotten, but it’s ok. I won a $20 gift certificate that I couldn’t use the same day. I came back today to use the gift card and enjoy the beautiful weather on the patio. I was able to meet the owner too. It was interesting to talk to him.
