Today was my site seeing day in Austin. I went up and down 6th and 7th streets, where the action is downtown. I didn’t find anything super exciting there. I took a detour from 6th over to the Texas capitol building. The building and grounds were really neat. I spent probably a good hour walking around the building checking out the statues, historical information signs, and the building. The history there was very interesting. It was way better than the OK capitol.
On my way back to the van I went to Waller Creek Pub House. This was a cool little spot between 6th and 7th.
