The plan for today is to get down to Knoxville, TN. On the way down, I stopped in Corbin, KY to see where Kentucky Fried Chicken started. The museum was closed but they had some info on signs around the site.
After a couple more hours of driving there was a turnout to the Norris Dam. It was nice to get out of the van and take in some scenery.
Just a little way down the road I spotted a brewery in the middle of nowhere, Clinch River Brewing. I had to stop in to see what they were all about. They had a beautiful patio area with a pond and firepit. I only tried their amber ale since I still had some driving ahead of me.
Before going to Knoxville I went to get a Hard Rock pin in Pidgeon Forge, TN. I didn’t know what I was getting into driving into the city. I had no idea that it was a tourist city. They had water parks, attractions, dinner theater, and lots more. After going to the Hard Rock Café I drove around the town a little bit to see the craziness.
