Now that I was back into the van I went back to the park, parked at a turnout, and went to bed.
After a few hours of sleep I started heading toward Charlotte, NC. On the way, I stopped at the Newfound Gap at the top of the mountain.
The rest of the day I spent driving and stopped once I got to Charlotte.
