We started off today going to the Ashville Pinball Museum. This place was really cool. They had tons of vintage and modern pinball machines, super rare pinball machines, and vintage arcade games.

After the arcade we walked around downtown. They have a Flatiron building here too. Just a smaller version of the one in NYC. We found a brewery that was in the basement of a building, One World Brewing. We had a flight here and then went to a chocolate shop for a brownie and drink.

Asheville is a smaller city than I expected. We made it through the city in a couple hours. We tried to go to the Biltmore, the Vanderbilt house, but there was at minimum a $60 fee to even see the house. We decided to go to the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company instead. This was a beautiful brewery. They are a macro brewery from Northern California for those that don’t know. The restaurant/taproom was all copper and wood. The property was really pretty. We met another couple that was doing part time vanlife. We talked with them for a while and showed off our vans. They were very impressed with the work I put into mine.

We went back toward town to check out a couple more of the breweries and watch the Vikings game. Started at Boomers. We found out this was a cigar and bourbon bar. We watched some of the game and got a drink here. Next we went to Burial Beer Company. This place was really good, but really expensive. We only stayed here for one drink and a couple samples. Next was the Funkatorium by Wicked Weed Brewing. There wasn’t much that I liked here, so again, we had a drink and some chips then bounced. Finally we went to Prospect, a cool dive bar to finish the night.
