12/9/2022 – 12/12/2022
I got all set up in the parking lot last night and today, 9th, I few out to Las Vegas, NV to meet Kiel and Dan w/ family for the weekend. We took it easy that night, since I got in so late. We only played a couple of games then went to bed. We got up early on the 10th and took an Uber out to Chinatown to watch the World Cup game at Crown & Anchor British Pub. The bar was packed, we had to stand the whole game. There were some rowdy groups there that made it fun.
We met up with Dan and Mandy at SAGOS, one of my favorite bars in Vegas. After hanging there for a bit we went to a speakeasy. Kiel and I went to Paris after that, Dan and Mandy had plans to get to. We made some bets at the sportsbook and went to Blondies to watch the UFC fights. We had a blast here. There were a bunch of people chanting songs for the fighters. I ended up losing all but one bet. At least it was by biggest one.
After the fights we took an Uber to Resorts World and had a drink at the bar on the top and played some games downstairs. The bar had a great view of the strip.
On the 11th after lunch we met up with everyone downtown on Fremont St. We walked around until we found an open table for Mandy to gamble at. They had a show that they were going to in an hour and we followed them to the Orleans. Kiel and I went upstairs and bowled for an hour then played darts with a couple until the show was over. This was one of the best times I’ve had in Vegas. We went back to the strip after meeting up with everyone again and partied it up all night.
On the 12th I was really tired when we got up to meet Dan and family at Area15. They did the VR experience while Kiel and I hung out and rehydrated. We went upstairs to the golf simulator until VR was done and then we played shuffleboard until getting a ride to the airport.
