All last week the weather has been beautiful. On the 16th I went golfing at Countryway Golf Club. I forgot that it was Presidents Day so the course was packed. I played the first nine holes with a couple of guys my age and the back nine alone. The weather was perfect and the company was fun.
On the 18th I went to Freedom Lake Park to go for a walk. I was looking for somewhere to play trivia and found that a brewery that I wanted to check out had it on Thursday’s.
On the 19th I went to Pee Pa’s Garage for trivia and to check out the brewery. A few different people recommended it to me. The brewery was cool. It was themed like an old car repair shop. In the back they had axe throwing and an actual restoration/custom car shop. The beers were good and I did fairly well at trivia. I need to start betting everything at the end. I would’ve gotten third place if I had.
On the 20th I drove up to Palm Harbor, FL to go frolfing and check out a bar that I found. Frolfing went well. I did better on the back nine than the front. Fatty’s Fish Shack was a blast. They have awesome happy hour and drink specials. Pretty much the entire bar is an outdoor tiki bar. They had a good cover band that night too. I will definitely be coming back here.
The night of the 20th I started feeling ill and yesterday I was wiped out for the next two days. I’m about 80% today and will hopefully be completely better by tomorrow. It’s just a head cold, but I’ve been feeling pretty run down. I found out last week that I got another scholarship to do another solar energy class that I’m pretty pumped about. I also might have a line on a medical study in March that I hopefully can get into.
