I’ve been in Lake Havasu for the week and I figured I could compress all of it into one post instead of spreading it out day by day. I left Las Vegas on 3/10/2020 and it rained the entire drive. I got into Havasu and just camped out for the night. The next day it rained off and on all day. I was able to take a bike ride to London Bridge, around the island, then went to Barley Brothers Brewery. The bike ride was really nice and I got to see the bridge, the lighthouses, and the channel. They have working mini replicas of lighthouses from around the USA all around the island to help with night time navigation. The channel is where everyone hangs out. There are connections to hook your boat up and a walking path that takes you to the lake. After I got done biking I went to Jeremy’s Juke Joint. This is a cool bar that has live music and craft beer. I played some pool, listened to some music, and had some drinks.

It stormed all day Thursday, so i wasn’t able to do anything and just hung out. On Friday, I went frisbee golfing at their 18 hole course in the desert. It was pretty interesting. I’ve never played in that kind of environment before. After that I went to Mudshark brewing and then Kokomo. Mudshark was pretty good, probably the closest to an actual brewery that they have here. Kokomo is a nightclub. They do have giant beer pong though, which was really fun.

Today I was hoping since it was nice that there would be people everywhere since it’s Spring break time. The channel was kinda busy, but not what I expected. I ended up hanging out there for a while then I went frolfing at their nine hole course on the island. This was an easy course, but it was really confusingly marked. After that I went to College Street Brewhouse for supper and then back to Kokomo to see if the party was there. The place was dead. I guess the kiddies can’t hang.
