Today was really fun. I started off going to a dog pub called Two Shepherds Taproom. Their beers were expensive, but it was fun to watch the dogs run around and talk to the owners. I made a buddy too.
After the taproom I drove back to Tampa to meet up with my friend Willow before the concert. The show was at New World Brewery. It’s a cool brewery with a nice venue attached to it. We hung out for an hour or so before the show then she took off when the show started. The concert was MATTE BLVCK featuring So Much Blood and I didn’t get the name of the first girl.
The first and last bands were mostly goth style with some electronica and industrial. So Much Blood was just electronic. Overall it was a good show, just not really my kind of music. It was worth the $25 for the ticket.
When I walked in everyone was standing 6ft from the stage. I think they were all scared to be the first one to move forward. I walked through everyone and got right up touching the stage. After I did, everyone else moved forward too. At the end of the show the drummer/guitar/synth guy gave me a drumstick.
