Before driving up to Austin, TX I stopped at Cactus Land Brewing Company, it was on my discount app. I’m happy that I did though. They were having a market, music, and a salsa/hot sauce competition. This place was pretty far out of the way on the SE side of San Antonio, but it was busy. I got my two pints, walked around the market, and watched the competition before heading out.
I found a place to stay using Harvest Hosts up on the West side of Austin, TX at Jester King Brewery. This place is fantastic. They have a huge property, goats, multiple bars, a biergarden, a park, and a farm. I didn’t see any goats, but they were advertising tours with them. I got there about an hour before they closed so I only got to try a couple of beers. If I would’ve gotten there earlier, I would’ve taken a tour. After closing I pulled my van into a secluded spot and hung out for the night.
