Today I visited one more museum and then went to the Stockyards. I started out at the Vintage Flying Museum. This museum was interesting because they keep all of their displays in flying order. They take them to different air shows. They had a lot of older personal aircraft and a few larger military planes.
I drove by the Fort Worth Aviation Museum. They had most of their displays outside so I saw them as I drove by. They didn’t have anything that I haven’t seen before so I didn’t stop in.
Next I made my way to the stockyards area. This place reminded me of Gatlinburg, TN. It’s very touristy. There were fake cowboys everywhere. I got to see the longhorns and I stopped in for a beer at Second Rodeo Brewing Company for beer. The brewery was huge with a giant outdoor area with food and live music. The rest of the stockyards was mostly a lot of cowboy apparel, expensive restaurants, and bars. Tonight I’m going to hang out and watch the fights in the van and enjoy the weather.
