I left Chico today. It was kinda sad leaving after hanging out for so long, but it was nice to get on the road again. I won’t be on the road long though. I’m heading back to Fargo so I can renew my drivers license and van registration. On my way to Lake Tahoe I stopped and a brewery and cidery in the middle of the mountains. The brewery was Barmhaus Brewing and the cidery was Hidden Star Orchards – Camino.
They brewery was fine. It was in a pretty location, but none of the beer really stood out. The cidery was beautiful. It’s located next to their apple orchard in the mountains. I got to hang out with the owner for a while and he was great. I was able to try a lot of their ciders and I liked the blueberry one the best.
I got up to Lake Tahoe fairly early so i was able to stop and both South Lake Brewing Company locations before setting up camp. The employees at the Libation Lodge were great to talk to and the 7th Anniversary IPA was pretty good. The Libation Lodge is the last two pictures.
