I spent today hanging out with Ashley. We went up to Boulder, CO to go for a hike then hit up a couple breweries. The hike was really pretty. There were some nice views of the city and the mountains.
After the hike we got lunch at Dark Horse. They are an old wooden college bar with a bunch of crap on the walls. The burgers were good. We then went to Boulder Social. They are a brewery/restaurant. The specials were good, but the beer was meh. Finally we went to Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery. This place was had awesome beer. I had a flight and ended up getting two extra’s for free. They are a chain brewery in town and have a few other locations with slightly different names. This one was located in the old downtown part of Boulder. I hadn’t gone to this area the last time I was here. It’s a cute classic downtown right next to the college.
