Today I spent the day exploring Boulder, CO. I parked up by the college and then walked to Pearl Street and downtown. In the downtown area, the closed Pearl St to cars and made it all pedestrian. I love when cities do this. It makes exploring so much more enjoyable. I saw a sandwich board in front of Postino advertising a super cheap happy hour. I had to check it out of course. It was a mini pitcher of beer for $5. I hung out, drank my two beers and watched the fights for a while.
I continued down Pearl St. until I hit the end of downtown and turned around. There were some cute houses on the next block over. I kept walking on this street all the way past downtown the other way and over to the creek. There were a lot of interesting houses and townhomes in this area. I saw an open lot for sale and I went on Zillow to check out the price. This quarter acre lot was selling for three million dollars. I couldn’t find a house for less than a million until I got way out East. I understand why. Boulder is a beautiful city with amazing views.
