When I was in Atlanta, GA last time for the movie I saw that the PGA Tour Championship was going to be there this week. I looked and tickets for the tournament days were $100, but the practice round was only $40. I scooped up a ticket and went to the tournament today.
This is going to be a terribly hot tournament. It was 95 degrees with the heat index over 100 all day and it will be hotter this weekend. I walked around the course for about five hours. It was fun to see some of the pros practicing and to be there without the crowds. Food was, of course, expensive. I was able to get my hot chicken from Hattie B’s though. The sandwich, fries, and a coke came to $34. It will be a fun tournament and I’m glad I got to see part of it.
