As I was heading to Milwaukee, WI I stopped in Madison, WI to get a picture of the capitol and bell. When I got there I had to walk half a mile to get up to the capitol because there was a food festival going on in the grounds. I got my pic, made a round, and got out of there. There were too many people. I couldn’t get to the bell as the building was closed.
Today I walked around Milwaukee, WI. I found out there were some Frank Lloyd Wright houses in the area and I went to check those out first. These were his idea for multi family living.
Next, I drove downtown and started walking. I went to fiserv forum first. This is where the Bucks play. I started working my way downtown and toward the lake. There are a lot of cool buildings downtown. I spent the majority of the day seeing what there was to see. I explored in a terrible inefficient way. I ended up walking East 5 blocks, then back, then back East again because I missed something. Milwaukee has the tallest wood frame skyscraper in the world, the Ascent building. I’ve watched a few videos about it and I had to get a pic.
