After I got back to Florida I hit up this all you can eat chicken wings place before heading up toward Colorado. Today I stopped at Elgin Air Force Base just East of Mobile, AL. The last time I was through here I missed the Air Force Armament Museum. It was really cool to see a museum that focused on the weapons instead of the delivery systems.
They also had a blackbird that I wasn’t aware of. This one was a special one that had the “big tail.” This allowed for electronic countermeasures and another camera. This is the only one that was made. They also had a couple of AC series planes, the side shooting gunships that were really cool.
After the museum I went to Pensacola, FL to grab a beer at A Little Madness Brewing Company and stay for the night. They brewery had a open mic comedy night. The comics weren’t very good and were trying out new stuff. There were only a few other people that weren’t comics and that probably didn’t help either.
