I started my day taking the train downtown again, I wanted to get a crushed penny. I’ve started collecting those since they are cheap and small souvenirs. I wanted to get one at the Hancock tower, but I would’ve had to pay $30 to go to the top and do that whole thing. I was not going to pay that much to get a penny squished. I found that they have a couple stations at Navy Pier, so I walked over there and found one in the shops.

I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art next. They didn’t have any exhibits that I really enjoyed, but that’s ok, it was a thing to do. After the museum I walked over to Millennium park to take a couple pics and get a beer. Double Clutch Brewing had a beer hall right under the bean in the park. It was a pain to get into the park today. There must have been some event going on as they had the entire park fenced off with security everywhere.

My last stop of the day was at the Guinness Open Gate brewery. Guinness has a few of these around the country. They brew their own beers and have the originals imported in. I was here for a few hours and made some friends. This was another long day of walking.
