I’m back!!!!
It’s been a while, but I’m back on the road. I spent the summer at home, hanging with the parents, seeing friends, making some money, and reworking the van. I’ll have a post coming shortly on that. I didn’t get to do all of the things that I wanted to while I was home, but that may have been my fault. Oh well.
Today I had a busy morning wrapping things up, finishing getting packed, and finally getting on the road. I picked up Ashley around 2:30 and we took off toward Pierre, SD. We stopped in Valley City, ND to hit up Brockopp Brewing. It hadn’t quite opened yet so we visited Ashley’s friend until they did. Outside the brewery they had some artillery ,a missile, and a F-104c Starfighter on display. Their beers were good. They had a good brown and IPA.
We stopped in Jamestown, ND for supper at the IDK bar. It was rated well and we wanted something local that was still open. I ordered the french dip and it was terrible. I could’ve gotten a better one at Subway. I told the cook about it and he just said that’s how they are. Hard pass on that place.
We got to Pierre, SD around 11PM and stopped for the night.
