I drove to Harrisburg, PA today to visit the capitol and then drove to East Earl, PA for lunch.
I went to Shady Maple Smorgasbord for lunch. This is the largest buffet in the country. When I pulled into the parking lot there were dozens of cars and busses. I got inside and the lines were like an amusement park. The line wrapped around five times. The types of people were about as you expect at the largest buffet. The food was all American style. It was good, but I would’ve liked a taco or something. The best was the pot roast and the beef brisket. This is in the heart of Amish country too. There were horse and buggies everywhere.
