Yesterday was a lazy day recovering from the night before. Later in the afternoon when I felt like a person again I took off from Dallas to go to the Winstar Casino. The WInstar is one of the largest casinos in the world. I also found out that if you sign up for the player card you get a free night at the RV park. I got there around 9ish and didn’t want to go to the buffet that late. Once I got there and checked into the park with my card I took it easy for the rest of the night.

Today I went to the buffet for lunch. It had a great spread, American, Italian, Mexican, Asian, seafood, salad bar, and dessert bar. I had a little bit of everything and it was only $15 if you have the card. After stuffing myself I walked around the casino for a while so I could find a place to spend my free casino money. I ended up losing $20, oh well.

After leaving the Winstar I was going to go straight to OKC and find a place to stay for the night. I changed my mind along the way and wanted to move around a bit instead of sitting all day after eating so much. I found a trail not very far from the Winstar to go for a hike. It was a really nice trail and had some beautiful scenery. I hiked until just before sunset and while I was taking in the view of the lake a guy drives up to me and asks me about my van. We ended up talking for a half hour or more and I showed him the van. He couldn’t stop gushing about how nice it was and what a good job I did. He said I should start a company manufacturing them. Maybe that’s not a bad idea.
