Over the last week I drove up to Denver and have been doing some brewery hopping. I drove up to Denver, CO on the fifth and met up with Ashley for supper and then we went out for a beer at New Terrain Brewing Company. New Terrain is a really nice brewery with great views of the city and mountains. There was even a double rainbow that day.

I bummed around the Arvada, CO area for a few days and then met up with Ashley again on the ninth. We met for lunch at Arvada Beer Garden then I went with her to run some errands. We drove out to Golden to go to Holidaily Brewing. I forgot that we had been there before. We just got one drink then moved on to Luki Brewing. I’ve never seen a circus themed brewery before. It was a fun place that had good beer.
Ashley dropped me off at the van after that and I started looking for a place to play trivia. I found Over Yonder Brewing all the way back in Golden, CO was having it. I got back out there, grabbed a beer, and sat on the couch. A group of 20 somethings asked if they could sit next to me and I agreed. I asked if they wanted to group up for trivia and they agreed. We had a great time hanging out and we actually won. We got a $20 gift card that they graciously gave to me.

Today I went frolfing at one of my favorite courses in the Denver area and then went to Prost Brewing to cool off. When I got to Prost I heard music and found out the School of Rock was playing a show. School of Rock is like the movie. It’s a music school that teaches kids music in they styles that they are interested in. The kids were amazing. They played songs from Iron Maiden, Rush, Primus, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, and lots more. The brewery also had a self guided tour that was pretty neat.
