I decided that I was going to the festival today so I parked close to the brewery. When I got up there was people and cars everywhere. I walked up to the brewery and there was so many people. I didn’t want to have to wait in lines to get beer. If I was with someone it would’ve been worth it, but not by myself. I ended up skipping the festival and went frolfing instead.
There was a winery in New Ulm that was having an Oktoberfest too. I checked that out. The winery, Morgan Creek Vineyards, was really pretty. I got a wine flight and hung out by the fire.
After the winery, I went to LocAle Brewing in Mankato, MN. I started watching the UFC fights here and I had a couple beers. Next I went to Mineral Springs Brewery. I really liked this brewery. They had a band playing classic rock and really good beers. I ended up closing the bar down. I was going to get a growler before I left for the night, but they didn’t let me. They only allow trading their branded growlers in for prefilled ones. That was pretty annoying. They got a bad review from that.
