Yesterday I drove up to Green Bay, WI to visit Zach and Ashley. I haven’t seen them in years. I got to see their house and we went out for supper. They had work in the morning so we didn’t do anything real exciting. Just hung out and talked mostly.
Today I started driving to Oshkosh, WI to visit the EAA Aviation Museum. The museum was half and half private/commercial aviation and military. A lot of their “historic” displays were recreations, but they did have a lot of private aircraft on display too. The military section had a few cool displays. They had a preproduction Mustang, a couple of Migs, and a nicely restored Corsair.
After the museum I drove to Milwaukee, WI. I went to Sprecher Brewing, but of course the taproom was closed. Exactly like last time. I went downtown to Central Waters Brewing instead. This was a neat brewery in an old church. The beers were good and I hung out with some regulars. I ended up meeting them at a bar later in the evening.
