After Curacao we had two days of sailing before we got back to Florida. The second day I did my own pub crawl of the ship. There were nine bars spread all over the ship and I made it to all of them. I made some friends while at a few of them too. I met up with my Australian friends at my last bar. I hung out with them for the rest of the night. We went to karaoke and ended the night chatting after the bars closed. They even invited me to their place the next time I visit Australia.
I was wiped out the morning that we got off the ship. It took forever to get off the ship, like I assume that it always does. We had to wait a half hour to get an Uber to get to the hotel and then another hour to drive there. I put my headphones on and kept my head down. My parents were chatting the driver up the whole time talking about me.
I was happy to see that my van was still at the hotel when we got back. We couldn’t check in for a few hours so my parents went for a walk and I took a nap in the van. We went out for lunch, then hung out in the hotel for the rest of the night.
I dropped my parents off at the airport yesterday. Before we left, we got lunch at Outback steakhouse. They had some of the worst service ever. We ordered fine and they brought out our appetizer and bread. Our entrees came out next and they weren’t going to clear our plates. I had to ask the girl to do it. After we finished we had to wait for what felt like forever for the server to take our dessert order. After we finally ordered, we waited at least 20 minutes to get two pieces of cheesecake. I was getting up to leave when our server finally came running out with the to-go bag.
Google took us a wacky way to get to the airport, but I didn’t have to pay a toll like those other suckers. I dropped them off and mom cried like always. After saying our goodbyes I found a place to park for the night and started catching up on the TV that I missed.
