I’m back!!! I flew back in on the 4th and have been trying to fix my sleep schedule ever since. The flight was the red eye starting at 10:30PM and landing at 5:30AM. I didn’t mind staying up all night, but now my sleep schedule has been messed up since. I can’t sleep at night and need a nap during the day.
Vegas was fun. I stayed at Liz’s family condo with her and her nieces. We had some fun adventures and overall had a great time. I tried out a Brazilian steakhouse that I haven’t had before. It was in the Planet Hollywood shops. I do not recommend. We went to the staples, ReBar and Evel Pie, both are still excellent. We did the strip one night, Fremont another, and hung out at the condo a lot.
On the 5th I went to downtown Orlando to go for a walk and found out they were having their tree lighting and street fair around the lake. Parking was horrible, but I found a spot within a few blocks. I was able to catch happy hour at World of Beer and then walked around the lake and downtown. There were pop up shops and decorations all around the lake. Downtown was all decked out and I found a Christmas event at the hospital downtown too. I ended up walking six miles overall.
On the 6th I found a bar to watch the UFC fights at, Cavo’s Bar and Kitchen. It was a chill little sports bar just East of downtown. The guy next to me lost $500 betting on the fights and football that day, oof. Yesterday I just hung out in the van and watched football.
It stormed really hard all evening. I still need to get a hold of someone at Walmart to get me oil drain plug fixed. My other thermistor crapped out in my fridge before I went to Vegas too. I got a new one and I’m just waiting for the rain to stop so I can get it installed. I heard back from the first parking place, from when I went to Vegas, and they are refunding my deposit. At least that’s one thing going for me.
