Happy New Year everyone!!!
I’ve just been bumming around St. Petersburg since my last post. I watched the fireworks over the bay on New Years Eve. They put on a good show. It lasted for about 20 minutes and had some good fireworks. I got a really good shot of downtown too.
On the 5th I did some brewery hopping. First I went to Golden Isles Brewing Co. They had a really nice patio, but the beer was only ok. The next brewery was Green Turtle Brewery. This one was right downtown. They had some traditional styles in casks, which is unusual. I liked the two that I had and had a good conversation with the owner.
Yesterday I went to a brewery in Largo, FL after frisbee golfing. The course I played at was quite nice. I would definitely play there again. Commerce Brewing, the brewery I went to, is a brewery, distillery, and a co-brewer. That means that they brew for other companies and not just their own stuff. The bartender and other customers were really nice. I sat there for a couple hours talking to everyone.
I ran out of water last night so I’ve been spending the day looking for somewhere that had some. I was able to find some and now I’m just going to hang out in the library.
