I got released from my study yesterday and after a nap I drove down to Cocoa Beach to hang out and get more toward Kennedy Space Center for the Artemis 2 launch. I walked around downtown Cocoa Beach a little bit before dark and then did a little bar hopping. I started at Bugnutty Brewing Company. They had a good black IPA and I met one of the brewers.
I found a British bar, George and Dragon English Tavern, that had trivia going on so I grabbed a Bombardier British Ale and signed up. I only caught the last round before the end, but it’s ok. The guy that took 3rd place wasn’t 21 so he gave me his gift card. After trivia I sat on the couch and read a couple of the pub books. One was about Norman Rockwell and the other two were about military hardware.
My last stop was at Dog n Bone. This place was an awesome dive bar that allowed dogs inside. They serve free hot dogs here! The place was dead, so I talked to the bartender and a couple of the patrons. The last guy I hung out with was a singer that toured with Bone Thugs and Harmony.
