Ugh, it’s been so hot the last two weeks. It’s been in the 90’s every day. I’m done with Florida. I’ve pretty much been sitting in libraries and Panera’s during the day to keep cool, donating plasma, and doing my weekly check in’s in Daytona.
On the 16th I drove out to Space Coast to watch Lost Signal play again. They were playing at Space Coast Harley Davidson. They had food trucks and the band playing. Besides me there was only a couple people paying attention. I grabbed my lawn chair, posted up in the shade, and watched the whole set. I hung out with the band during their breaks and then met up with them in Daytona to party after the show. It ended up being a late night.
On the 22nd I found a new brewery that I really like, Blue Springs Brewing. They share a building with Riverwalk Pizzeria. I got a flight and a few samples and I liked everything I tried. They have really good lunch and happy hour specials too. I will definitely be coming back.
It’s my last week in the area!!! I’m ready to get to cooler climates and see everyone at home. After I get my last check on Thursday I’m bouncing over to Tampa to do a tour of Yuengling Brewery and see my friends there before I leave Florida. After that, there’s a museum I want to check out in Georgia, then up to Kentucky, St. Louis, and so on.
