Today I left Sedona for Flagstaff. I took the back way instead of the interstate and I’m really glad that I did. I got to drive on the edge of a mountain. I stopped at Oak Creek Vista to take some pics. It was really pretty. You can see in one of the pics the road all the way up.

Once I got to Flagstaff I went downtown to the library to upload some stuff here and then went on a mini brewery tour. I went to the places the guys in Cottonwood suggested. I found another Orpheum theater here. They seem to be everywhere. I first stopped at Dark Sky Brewing. They were having a Food and Drink Pairing night, with a guest bartender, and the place was packed. I found a spot at the back bar and watched the guy make drinks and ordered a flight. I liked pretty much everything I tried and they gave me a free mixed drink from what was leftover. The staff was really nice and we chatted for a while as I finished my flight.

All of these breweries were all downtown so I was able to walk to each of them. The next one was Lumberyard Brewing. This was more of a brewpub than a brewery. It was similar to Granite City, but with better beer. I had a fun conversation with a Geologist that sat next to me. He travels the country doing surveying for different projects. On my way to the next place I took some pics of the old downtown area.

I finished my night at Mother Road Brewing Company. I got there with only a hour or less before they closed. They had a really good Double Black IPA.
