I headed off to Milwaukee today. On my way I saw probably the biggest US flag I have ever seen. The pole is 400ft tall and the flag is 7200 sq ft. It’s absolutely huge.
As I was getting into Milwaukee I saw that I was going past Miller Field. I had to stop by and grab some pics.
There was some snow on the ground. This is the first sign of winter that I come across so far. It was just in the grass and was melting fast. The next spot I went to was the Harley Davidson Museum. I was going ot take a tour, but the tickets were $25. That’s a lot for something I’m not that excited about, so I skipped it.
I was starting to get hungry, and thirsty, so I headed over to Lakefront Brewing. I was just going to get a beer then find somewhere to eat, but when I walked in there was a line for a tour and a line for the fish fry. I hopped in the tour line and got signed up. The tour was pretty good. This was another pretty large brewery. It was neat to see the differences when things scale up. During the tour they gave us four free samples and then a pint glass at the end. After the tour I got a table for the fish fry. The fish was really good and there was a polka band playing. The worst part about it was the tables of little kids all over. The adults let them run all over doing whatever they wanted. It was like a family restaurant in there. #keepkidsoutofbreweries
I ended my night at Company Brewing to try their stuff. Nothing special, but not bad.
