I wanted to watch the UFC fight tonight and decided to go to TopGolf for their watch party. I got there and found out that there was a $20 cover, ugh. While walking back to the van I found there was a no cover watch party at Mabel’s BBQ in The Palms casino. When I got there I couldn’t find the place. Google Maps failed me and if I would’ve followed the signs in the casino I would’ve found it right away.
I got there at about 5:45 and got the last seat at the bar. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to eat or not, but when others around me ordered I decided to. The place was kind of expensive, but it looked really good so I splurged. The restaurant was run by the celebrity chef Michael Symon. All the meats were served by the half pound and started at $17. I wanted a couple different meats and side and they had an all you can eat option for $49. There was an all you can drink option that you could add for $25 too. I went for both because why not? Drinks were around $13 each so it just made sense. I had the brisket, pork belly, chicken wings, and mac and cheese. I definitely got my money worth of food. I ordered pretty much their entire drink menu over the course of the night too. If I would’ve had everything individually I would’ve spent probably $200 on food and drinks.
After the fights I walked around the casino and hung out with some of the people gambling until around three. I call it and stayed in The Palms parking lot for the night.
