Well this doomsday pandemic is really putting a hamper on my trip. Everything is closed everywhere.
Since Saturday I haven’t been able to do much. I was able to hit up the last few breweries in Vegas before they closed. On Monday I went to Astronomy and Mojave Brewing. I ran into one of the guys I talked to at CraftHuas last week. They were doing another bottle tasting. After that I went to Mojave. They are brand new and had a lot of good stuff. They make ciders and seltzers in house too which is pretty rare.
I was originally going to go to LA to spend St Patrick’s day with Kiel, but that fell through since LA is shut down. I was able to find the Downtown Grand here was having a party so I hung out there all day. I found another brewery on my way to the grand at the Downtown Station Casino called Triple 7. They had awesome happy hour specials. I wish I wouldn’t have eaten before I went. I got a couple beers there and headed over to the Grand. I hung out at the Grand all night talking to a bunch of randoms. There was a group of guys from Ireland in town for a 21st birthday, a stage producer, and some others just on vacation.
Today they shut down all of the Planet Fitness’s for two weeks so I’m SOL on showers. I’m going to LA tomorrow to stay with Kiel until this blows over. I hate you COVID-19.
