I finished driving all of Route 66 today. Before I left LA I drove to Santa Monica to the beach. But because the beach and pier are closed I couldn’t get a pic of the end of the road sign. I guess I’ll have to take that when I swing through again.
Like I said, I left LA today. I thanked Kiel for letting me stay with him and took off for home. I was expecting a two day drive, but I think I’m going to extend it out a day so I can see the scenery when its light out.
I made it to St. George, Utah. The mountain pass the follows the virgin river was beautiful. I’ve never taken i15 north of vegas. I’m excited for more mountains tomorrow.
