Today I toured Portland, ME. I was here several years ago when I worked for Multiband. I started sightseeing at the Portland Head Light, Fort Williams, and the Goddard Mansion. The ocean here is really pretty. The Goddard Mansion was the most interesting part of the park. It’s the ruins of a huge mansion on the top of one of the hills by the fort.

There was another lighthouse down the coast just a little way, Two Lights Lighthouse. I popped down there after the park. I was expecting to grab a shot of the lighthouse and take off. I ended up staring at the ocean for 20 minutes.

I headed back downtown next. I checked out the market and port area. I saw the narrow gauge railroad and stopped in Brickyard Hallow Brewing for a pint.

There wasn’t a ton to see here so I got back to the van and drove down to Portsmouth, NH. It was dark when I got here so I stopped in Liars Bench Beer Company and chatted up this old guy from Minneapolis until they closed.
