Today I did some more sightseeing and a mini brewery tour. I started by going back to Coors Brewery to exchange sizes for the shirt. Then I got lunch at Colorado Plus 49 Cidery and Pub. The place was packed when I got there. I had a hot chicken sandwich, meh, but the cider was good. I was able to use one of my “Golden Tickets” here.
I asked the staff about some of the other places to use the “Golden Ticket” and they said Golden City Brewery around the corner was good. I stopped over there for a pint and a couple tasters. They were OK, the venue was nice though. They were growing hops on the wall in the last picture.
The next stop was Red Rocks Amphitheater. This place was awesome. I’d love to see a show here someday. The walk up the the seats was a bit of a hike though.
Up next was Blue Moon Brewing Company. I was able to make there for a last call flight. They had more beers that I liked there than I thought.
The last stop for the day was at Mockery Brewing around the corner. I was able to park right outside here for the night. I found a Groupon here for two growlers, two pints, a sticker, and a glass for $22. I had to take that crazy deal. I unfortunately only really liked one of there beers. They are known for trying out weird stuff.
