I left San Diego yesterday after frolfing and then made a few stops at some breweries along the way. So all of you don’t worry about me drinking and driving, I only had one and a couple tasters at each place and I was at each place for about an hour each. My first stop was at Culver Beer Company. This was a cute brewery and there were a lot of regulars there. The second one was Lost Winds Brewing Company. I hung out here talking to the locals and the stout was pretty good. The last one was The Bruery Tasting Room. When I got here they were in the middle of bingo. I grabbed a card and got into the action. I was close on one for the games, but didn’t win. This place does a lot of barrel aged stuff. I was able to get a couple that weren’t and the dry Irish stout was really good.
A couple days ago when I figured out when I would be in LA I reserved a ticket for Dune 2 at Grauman’s Chinese Theater IMAX screen. It was really cool inside. The ceiling and walls were really pretty and the movie was good.
